IV. BOOKING CONDITIONS & RESERVATION ROUTING

To secure our performance slots and protect our strict charting schedules, all bookings are handled under a priority administrative code:

  1. Retainer Gate: A non-refundable 50% commitment deposit is required to permanently freeze our calendar date and initialise our production tracking hours.

  2. Clearance Loop: The remaining 50% balance is cleared via a single secure wire transaction forty-eight (48) hours prior to the main equipment load-in call time.

  3. Technical Rider: The client agrees to provide the basic stage, lighting, and PA system framework as mapped out by our technical sound rider brief, unless Tier 2 or Tier 1 packages are selected.

V. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY REVENUE FRAMEWORKS

OPTION A: THE 50/50 SHARED MASTERS FRAMEWORK (Standard Base Package)

  • Clause 14.1 (Joint Ownership): The Client and Buula Music Holdings agree that all intellectual property, including multi-track audio master recordings, 4K video footage, and musical arrangements generated during the performance, shall be jointly owned on a 50/50 basis. Neither party shall sell or license the master files to a third-party commercial entity without the express written consent of both owners.

  • Clause 14.2 (Exploitation): The Client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to utilise the content for corporate marketing, internal communications, and digital public relations. Buula Music Holdings retains the exclusive right to commercially exploit the master audio and video tracks via global streaming platforms, physical merchandise sales, and subscription-based Video-on-Demand (VOD) paywalls.

OPTION B: THE 100% ABSOLUTE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY BUYOUT (Premium Package)

  • Clause 15.1 (All-Media Buyout): Upon clearance of the specified Premium Package layout, Buula Music Holdings executes an absolute copyright waiver. The Client assumes 100% sole legal ownership of the master video and audio tracking files globally and in perpetuity. Buula Music Holdings forfeits all backend streaming, synchronisation, and broadcast exploitation claims, granting the Client unrestricted distribution freedom.

INTER-CATALOG SAFETY COVENANT (Standard Protection)

  • Clause 15.2 (Protection of Pre-Existing Intellectual Property): The Client explicitly acknowledges that some or all of the musical works performed during the event may consist of pre-existing original compositions created, published, and released by Artists prior to the event date. The execution of an Absolute Copyright Buyout (Option B) applies strictly and exclusively to the specific audiovisual master recording captured during this single itinerary window. Buula Music Holdings or Artists retains 100% of all underlying publishing, songwriting, and composition rights. The Client receives zero ownership or exploitation claims over Artists’ underlying catalogues, future publishing royalties, or pre-existing digital streaming assets on platforms such as Spotify or Apple Music or any other distributor.
